Good care starts with the people who deliver it.

At Lovin Care, we believe the people who care for others deserve to be looked after too. That's not just a value. It's how we're built.

A different kind of team

Most aged care workplaces don't invest in the people doing the work. We do. We're building Lovin Care because we believe the industry can be done better. And that starts with the team.

Trauma-informed supervision

Every care team member participates in fortnightly trauma-informed supervision. We believe that sustained, quality care isn't possible without it. So we've built it in from the start.

Cultural training that goes deeper

Working with Chinese-Australian families requires more than bilingual communication. We provide structured training in cultural frameworks, family dynamics, and the specific expectations of the communities we serve.

Values first, qualifications second

The right qualifications matter. So does the kind of person you are. We recruit for both.

A career you can grow into

Clear pathways from support worker through to senior clinical and coordination roles. People who can see a future, stay.

What we look for

Here's what we actually look for.

  • Genuine empathy: not as a personality trait but as a daily practice
  • Cultural respect: an authentic commitment to understanding the people you serve
  • Honesty and accountability: with clients, families, and your team
  • Openness to learning, especially the harder, more human parts of this work
  • A long-term view: you're here to build something, not just fill a role

Language skills

Mandarin or Cantonese language skills are strongly preferred for most care roles. This is central to our model and something our clients deeply value. We also welcome applicants with strong English who are committed to building cultural competency through our training program.

Support services

Community support worker

The core of what we do. You work directly with clients in their homes, supporting daily living, building consistent relationships, and providing the culturally appropriate presence that makes a genuine difference to people's lives.

What you'll be doing

  • Personal care, meal support, and daily living assistance
  • Accompanying clients to appointments and social activities
  • Communicating with families and coordinators in Mandarin, Cantonese, or English
  • Accurate and timely care documentation
  • Participating in fortnightly trauma-informed supervision

What you'll need

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), or currently enrolled
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language skills (strongly preferred)
  • Current police check and WWCC (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificate
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Right to work in Australia
Clinical

Registered nurse

Clinical leadership is central to how we work. As an RN at Lovin Care, you carry genuine clinical responsibility: shaping care plans, delivering skilled nursing in the home, and setting the standard for how care is practised.

What you'll be doing

  • Clinical assessments and care plan development
  • Skilled nursing in clients' homes: wound care, medication management, chronic disease monitoring
  • Supervising and supporting support workers on clinical matters
  • Coordinating with GPs, allied health professionals, and families
  • Contributing to quality improvement and incident review processes

What you'll need

  • Current AHPRA registration (Division 1 RN)
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience, ideally in community or aged care
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language skills (valued, not required)
  • Current police check, WWCC, First Aid and CPR
  • Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
  • Right to work in Australia
Coordination

Care coordinator

You're the connection between clinical assessment and real-world care. You hold the relationship with clients and families, translate plans into action, and make sure the whole team is working together. This role suits someone who can hold complexity without losing the person at the centre of it.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing client caseloads under the Support at Home program
  • Coordinating services, worker allocation, and scheduling
  • Conducting intake assessments and onboarding new clients
  • Serving as the primary contact point for clients and families
  • Monitoring care quality and escalating clinical concerns to the RN

What you'll need

  • Certificate IV in Ageing Support, or a degree in social work, nursing, or a related field
  • Experience in case management or care coordination (aged care preferred)
  • Mandarin or Cantonese language skills (strongly preferred)
  • Current police check and WWCC
  • Right to work in Australia
